It isn't very hard to start zentangling. All you need is your creativity and imagination.
Let's begin with some materials that you can use.
Materials:
-Pen ( different tips if you have some, this isn't necessary but it will make your designs more distinctive and intricate.)
- Paper or sketchbook
The first thing to do is just draw some shapes . These shapes are what you will practice your zentangle patters in. The shapes can be anything. Just as long as you draw multiples. Don't be afraid to mix it up if you'd like.
I suggest starting with the basics such as ( squares and circles)
I have attached a sample here for what I am referring to. I will also attach a
link just in case you decide to opt for pre-made worksheets.
Once you have your shapes, just pick an area and again pick a smaller pattern. This can be anything. you fill the whole area with swirls, circles, or even just lines going in different directions.
